Learning without an account
Lessons, practice and exams are free and do not require an account. Answers are processed during your session to calculate a result. A temporary server copy of the selected questions is removed within the next daily cleanup during use, within about three days after starting. We do not create profiles of anonymous visitors.
Sign-in & results
If you voluntarily sign in with ChatGPT, we receive an account ID, email and possibly your name. We store these details and your first and last activity to operate your account and results. The owner can view them in the protected admin portal. Each completed session stores your score, question count, session type and date, rather than all your individual answers. The basis is providing the account and progress features you request.
Results are retained for up to 12 months; a user profile is removed after 12 months of inactivity at the daily cleanup during use. You can download and erase your site data below. This does not erase your ChatGPT account.
Newsletter
Signing in does not subscribe you. Only with your explicit consent do we store your email, account ID, language, consent date and consent version. The newsletter is for people aged 16 and above. You can unsubscribe on the newsletter page or using the link in an email. New sending stops immediately after unsubscribing; the subscription is removed after 30 days at the daily cleanup during use. If newsletters have been sent, minimal delivery and consent evidence is retained for up to five years after the last sending to demonstrate consent. Erasure preserves only these necessary records.
Contact requests
For a request we retain your email, category, message, date and handling status for up to 90 days. The basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions and complaints and, for privacy requests, our legal obligations. Do not include sensitive information.
Visitor statistics & security
We count daily openings of the learning page. These are page views, not unique people. Counts contain no IP, name or cookie ID and are retained for 12 months. To limit form abuse we temporarily use a secret-key-derived value of your IP; the raw IP is not stored in our application database for this purpose. This value expires within about three days. The basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, usable website.
Cookies & providers
The app stores your language preference locally and adds no advertising trackers. OpenAI provides Sites hosting and ChatGPT sign-in; Sites infrastructure uses Cloudflare for database and file storage. These providers may process technical data and sign-in cookies. Storage is not guaranteed to be exclusively in the EU. See their privacy information for their own processing and safeguards.
The notice stores a version and dismissal date under viatheoria-cookie-notice in local storage. It reappears after 180 days or a new version. The language preference is stored under viatheoria-language (with the older rijklaar-language as a fallback) until changed or cleared. Use the Cookies button to reopen the information. Closing does not grant consent to advertising or tracking.

If email sending is connected, Resend receives the email address and message content to deliver the newsletter. Before activation the owner must review processing terms, international transfers and the sending domain.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw newsletter consent. Submit requests through Contact. We normally respond within one month; identity may be checked to protect your data. You can complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
